Massage Etiquette

What to Expect & How to Prepare for Your Visit

Before Your Visit

  • Arrive Early: Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your scheduled appointment to allow time for check-in and consultation.
  • Hydrate: Drink plenty of water before your massage to help your body respond better to the treatment.
  • Communicate: Inform your therapist about any medical conditions, injuries, or areas that need special attention.
  • Eat Lightly: Avoid heavy meals 1-2 hours before your massage appointment.

What to Wear

  • Undress to Your Comfort Level: Most clients undress completely, but you can leave on undergarments if you prefer. You'll be covered with sheets at all times.
  • Thai Massage: For Thai massage, wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing as this is performed fully clothed.
  • Jewelry: Remove jewelry before your massage to prevent damage and ensure your comfort.

During Your Massage

  • Communication: Feel free to communicate with your therapist about pressure, temperature, or any discomfort.
  • Relax: Try to relax and breathe deeply. This will enhance the benefits of your massage.
  • Quiet Time: Many clients prefer to remain quiet during the massage, but conversation is welcome if you're comfortable.

Tipping Guidelines

Tipping is appreciated but not required. A standard tip is 15-20% of the service price. Tips can be given in cash or added to credit card payments.
